Adelphean (Alpha Delta Pi) Collection

Furnishings and decorative pieces belonging to the Adelphean Society fill the back parlor. Founded in 1851 and now known as Alpha Delta Pi, it was the first national collegiate women’s society.
The distinctive diamond shape of the Adelphean Society’s symbol is found throughout the room, such as in this cake basket and initiation pin.
