The Furnishings of this room are the original 1851 founders furnishings of the Adelthean Society, the first national collegiate women's society. See the original marble fireplace mantel, gasalier and mirror which were also moved to complete the collection. There are portraits of the ladies who founded the society and a display which shows the earliest pens that were worn. Alpha Delta Pi members and alumni have free access to the room when they visit The Cannonball House.
The distinctive diamond shape of the Adelphean Society’s symbol is found throughout the room, such as in this cake basket and initiation pin.
