This year, during the Annual Cherry Blossom Festival, The Cannonball House would like to welcome you to step back into time and experience the common threads that weave our lives together as we explore women’s history, fashion history, cultural history and the history of our community. Come and enjoy our exhibit of historical wedding memorabilia from local Georgian families. We will have wedding dresses from the late 1800’s to the early 1900’s on display, including the wedding dress of Mary Day, who married Sidney Lanier in 1867, as well as wedding invitations and announcements. Join us in preserving Georgia’s rich heritage.
